you've got 8 speakers. I think you're going to need 2 amps.
For the cost of the Hertz 4D I would get the Biketornics 4180 and put in the fairing and power your speakers up front.
For the bags, you can put an amp in there with the speakers and with more space to work with than in the fairing, you can find very powerful amps well priced. Check out the Soundstream TN900.4.

AHH Yeah - He's going to need two very powerful amps with those speakers. Been there done that. A weak amp is not going to cut it. The X2 doesn't even drive those speakers to optimum performance. Let alone the X4.
As long as they are all 4ohm speakers he could run them all off the biketronics 4180, or any other 4 channel 2 ohm stable amp. The BT has the advantage of being Hypex, and fitting in your fairing with a lifetime warranty.
Thanks but I'm wanting something to fit in the fairing on my 2014 limited. The local stereo shop sold me hertz 6.5 and 5x7 for the lids I'm putting on and they weren't sure about the amp fitting. I had to go 5x7 because my bike is Daytona blue and no one has matched it 100% yet so I bought the Harley lids
The HCP might on a 14. The HDP won't. Not sure I'd be happy with the juice of the HCP. The Arc Xdi 600.4 fits and I think is close in size to the HCP. I'd rather the Xdi or do it right and toss Gann's HDP in a bag.
