Lose control of volume....Infotainment Boom

I have, on more than one occasion, lost control of the volume toggle. Everything else works with the left toggle..."home","moving around the screen"....and even skipping songs (toggle left)...but the volume control (up/down) fails to work. This is fixed by turning the bike off for 10-15 seconds and then back on...BTW, this won't work if you are cruising. I tried to turn my bike off while driving down a country road and coasting for 10 seconds...doesn't work.
Has anyone else had this loss of volume control???

Happens to me also. Turned bike off and filled up at the gas pump. Restarted bike clicked Accept then the low fuel warning came on to direct me to the nearest gas station 
. Click no and proceeded down the road. No volume. Restarted the bike at a stop light and volume came back. Lost it another time after starting the bike.
