After spending countless hours here in the audio forum I finally decided to pull the trigger on the Bt 7.1 pro's, 4180 amp, 6.5 titan II's and a SONY MEX-GS810BH along with the 1005 kit for my 06 Road Glide. All I have to say is WOW! I've still got some playing to do with the eq on the Sony but holy crap it sounds wicked good! Mounted the amp on top of the Head unit (its a tight fit but it does fit with the bt install kit, took a cutoff wheel to one of the windshield screws to shorten it so it won't contact the amp, I've got a madstad so their screws are plenty long). Unfortunately I completely spaced wrapping the fairing speakers with the polyfill.... So I've got to pull the outer back off after I spent an hour fighting to get it put back on. That's my fault for not extending my wires when I put my bars on the road glide so my connecters are perfectly in the way of the headlights. Lesson learned! I did stuff my lowers though!! I can't begin to express how impressed I am by the system and I now swear I need louder exhaust because it sounds very muffled now. I'm now contemplating buying an ultra so I can have 8 speakers, but I'm only 28 I'm not supposed to have an ultra right?!?! Supposed to be 72 today so I do believe I'll be jamming if I have it my way in 5 hours!! To everyone who posted positive things about Biketronics, I thank you. Bill if you happen to read this tell Donna it was a pleasure doing business with you guys and thank you for making such an amazing product!
I've only been running them a total of probably an hour but I adjusted my fader to where they were the only ones putting out sound. They sound extremely clean sitting in the shop. I didn't go for a ride with it set like that but I was very impressed just sitting still.
I do have a ultra w/4 speakers and I purchased the titan amp and 7.1 speakers holly shiiit its so loud I cant turn it up full volume, im impressed w/ biketronics.....
The true test will be riding at 60mph listening at full blast. Head unit great choice, That one of my go to headunits for great SQ. Those units gives out 5volt without clipping the signal to amps. Has a lot of adjust ability in the deck.
Try: HPF at 60 or 80 at slope 1; DM+, EQ Flat and see how loud you can crank that and go from there.
Hpf is set at 60 slope is 2 I'll try 1 DM I can't remember I'll be able to tell you later. I've got the eq set to produce better highs and less lows I'm not a huge fan of listening to massive amounts of bass. So far I've had the volume up to 37 and that was just flat out ridiculously loud (3/4 of max) lol. But I'll be sure and give that all a shot thanks for the advice!

Thats why I need new exhaust I can't hardly hear it over the crystal clear sound coming from the speakers goin down the highway! 5v outputs is exactly why I went after that headunit plus sony's 10 band eq I hate 3 band eq's with a passion.

how did you wire the amp? all 4 speakers run in parallel on 2 channels or one speaker per channel?
