I wired one per channel I figur I have a 4 channel amp so might as well use all the channels available I do have the fader set to where I'm pushing the 7.1's more than the 6.5's though
After spending countless hours here in the audio forum I finally decided to pull the trigger on the Bt 7.1 pro's, 4180 amp, 6.5 titan II's and a SONY MEX-GS810BH along with the 1005 kit for my 06 Road Glide. All I have to say is WOW! I've still got some playing to do with the eq on the Sony but holy crap it sounds wicked good! Mounted the amp on top of the Head unit (its a tight fit but it does fit with the bt install kit, took a cutoff wheel to one of the windshield screws to shorten it so it won't contact the amp, I've got a madstad so their screws are plenty long). Unfortunately I completely spaced wrapping the fairing speakers with the polyfill.... So I've got to pull the outer back off after I spent an hour fighting to get it put back on. That's my fault for not extending my wires when I put my bars on the road glide so my connecters are perfectly in the way of the headlights. Lesson learned! I did stuff my lowers though!! I can't begin to express how impressed I am by the system and I now swear I need louder exhaust because it sounds very muffled now. I'm now contemplating buying an ultra so I can have 8 speakers, but I'm only 28 I'm not supposed to have an ultra right?!?! Supposed to be 72 today so I do believe I'll be jamming if I have it my way in 5 hours!! To everyone who posted positive things about Biketronics, I thank you. Bill if you happen to read this tell Donna it was a pleasure doing business with you guys and thank you for making such an amazing product!
No problems having an ultra at 28 man. I'm 28 also and bought my 06 Ultra almost 2 years ago.
I'm also a very satisfied Biketronics customer. I have the 4180 with 7.1 in front and the 7.1 pods in the rear.
ULTRA's ARE FOR OLD MEN.....:icon_lols ign::icon_ laugh:
sony GS810 or 610 are almost identical, I just researched it - only difference is - AFAIK - hd radio on the 810.
but price difference is 38 bucks on amazon. (218 / 180)
I am waiting fot my 4180 and potentially upgrading to 810 (10 band EQ) or (preferably) pioneer DEH 80PRS (248 usd; 16 channel EQ). this one has GREAT reviews and can be dialed in with so many options until I am totally drunk from all the beers...

Good to know! I might have to pursue my need for 8 speakers. Surely I can get bt to let me buy the adapters for a batwing when the time comes.
