After I got everything installed I wanted to try putting the splash guard in place. After I finally got it in place I couldn't get it off. Had to take my pocket knife and pry it off.
If you go to Biketronics there are different splash guard options. Model of bike and another check mark if you have chrome. Not sure of the difference but obviously there is one.

The one on the bottom is the one I have as well........and I don't have chrome. It does fit in tight but comes out with little effort. Call Biketronics, they're customer service is exceptional!
I had the same situation. I had to take the dremel to the bottom edge the guard and now it works just fine. Probably took about 1/16" off. I also used velcro on the left and right side of it and it locks into place great.
Called biketronics they told me they did send me the wrong splash guard, and the right one should get to me by the middle of next week.
Great customer service!!!
Doesn't surprise me at all. These guys do customer service correctly. I bought a BT-1005x off of them and called with a question....they helped me setup an amp that is their competition! What does that mean to me? I know who's getting my money next time (which could be sooner rather than later since their amps are better anyway) Service that these guys offer is hard to come by these days and should be noticed. Most retailers just want your money.....these guys want you to be happy with your purchase. That's worth something to me......
