There's a 2 channel version as well the T400X2AD, but for the extra 50 bucks get the 4 channel in the event you ever want to expand.
I'm using one right now, and I've had NUMEROUS amps on my bike (name one) and this amp sounds AS good as the best one. It is NIGHT and day difference over the PBR. Not even in the same league. It's expensive but you get what you pay for with this amp.
Yes Sir! NIGHT and DAY! Your system will come to life BIG time with that amp. And trust me when HAZE says he's had the best amps in his bike you can take it to the bank. . . lol
Do you have a line level converter installed, or just using the speaker level inputs? The PBR has both a gain level pot and an input level pot. I had the same problem with my PBR300x2 until I purchased a $20 line level converter and tuned the input levels first, then tuned the gain. Works great now. Crystal clear and ridiculously loud.

I do not have a line level converter installed but as long as it doesn't require cutting up my factory harness I am willing to try anything. What do you recommend for a brand?

One more question if I opt to use existing PBR30X4 and add in a line level converter ill I then be required to run a power remote wire? What wire is everyone tapping remote wire power from? Either way new amp or old I believe I will have to run this.
I think Schoshe is the brand I used. It was purchased locally at Best Buy for $20. The line level converter does not require remote power, but your PBR300 will. Not sure where to get power on your bike specifically, I used an accessory circuit. It's a tiny amount of amperage for the remote wire.
Thanks for the input and I think I will try the line level converter before dropping another 500 on an amp as I will have to do something similiar with the new amp anyways. Thanks again and when I open it up I will try to get a few pictures. Very clean install I might say!
