I want to keep all functions of my stock HU, I'm looking at the bt 4180 amp, with the 7.1 in the fairing and 6.5 titans in the lowers, and changing out the tour pak speakers also. so here come the questions,
1. what is needed to install the 6.5 titan speakers in the lowers?
2.for best results with the mentioned set up, what speakers should I consider for the tour pak pods? will the 6.5 titans fit? or should I go with the Infinity 62.11i these are 2ohms do I have to wire them in series as the 4180 is a 4 ohm output.
thanks in advance for the help

1. You need 6.5 speaker pods and CVO grills work best. HD OEM CVO pods work or you can get aftermarket ones - Fairing Factory. Both cost roughly the same
2. Any 4ohm speaker in the rear will work. If you are going to use the 4180, recommend you wire the 7.1's to the front channel and the 6.5's you wire in parallel together to the rear channel. Two sets of 4ohm speakers result in a 2ohm load, which the 4180 supports. So you need a 4ohm speaker. A second set of Titans would be perfect.
You put a 4180, 7.1's and two sets of Titan II's and your bike will scream.
thanks for the reply haze324, I ended up ordering the bt4180 with the BT7P1's for fairing, the 6.5 titan II for the lowers and the BT474 heavy duty 7.1 speaker pods for the tourpak. i have one more question, their kit comes with a wiring harness that put the front and lower speakers in parallel, you mentioned to wire the lowers and rears in parallel, what is the difference between the two?

madhunter -
Wire your Fairing speakers and lowers in parallel and run the BT474's off the back channel. No difference betwwen the two. There are just multiple ways to wire your six speakers. For example you could also wire your fairing speakers and BT474's in parallel and run your lowers of the back channel.
The most simplistic way is going to be to wire the fairing and lowers in parallel and run your rear pods off the back channel.
