Default Biketronics, Part II

I received my 2nd order from Biketronics today and can't say enough good things about them. Got the Kenwood KDC-X998, Retro Radio Kit and splash guard (may need to go back to college to figure out how to work the settings). I got the BT7.1's and BT2180 about 2 weeks ago and per the advise and recommendation of several of you guys, I bit the bullet for the new HU. Thanks to you guys for educating me about upgrading the HU (thanks from me...not from my wife) Lol. I'm thinking a pair of Titan 6.5" in the lower fairing and "stick a fork in me", I'm done. Can't wait to install it this weekend.

Does anyone have experience with the non-powered antenna that comes in the Retro Radio Kit? Just curious if it does a decent job?

Mark

That's a bad azz radio. I've got the same one. I have my settings saved in an email somewhere. I'll shoot them to you. Add the 6.5's in the lowers and it doesn't get much better than that man. I had the 4180 running my fronts in parallel and it screamed!

+1 - got that one too... only downside is the s3earch/play options on USB stick is CUMBERSOME compared to other vendors (like Pioneer). I want genre based search option and then random played

My 898 excelon has random play options. Either random play on a specific file or random play from all files.

Mark, to answer your question about the antenna. It does work ok. Just keep in mind what it is. String the end of the antenna as high as you can get it.
