So my wife needed a CB installed on her 13 Electra Glide Classic. I purchased a mix of new and used parts. The CB module came from a 13 Screaming Eagle Ultra with only 500 miles on it. Had all the parts and had dealer do the install. I get a call from the dealer today and they tell me i am missing the cb module wiring harness(part number 67200703). Keep in mind this is not the overlay harness, i had that. This harness goes between the console pod and the overlay. Dealer tells me they can't order it even though it has a HD part number. I call HD and yep....they won't sell seperate from the cb.......WTF!! Anybody else run into this issue?
Not knowing what overlay harness you have, you shouldn't need any additional harnesses if you don't have more than the cb module. The non ultra overlay harness (70169-06A) has the connectors to mate the radio, cb module, and tank console. If you're somehow missing the tank console harness, that is absolutely available (77121-08). The p/n you mention doesn't come up anywhere for me, so I don't know what exactly it is; you're not trying to use the console from a '14+ are you?
pp6000v2. I listed the wrong PN#. It should have been 69200703 as the PN that the Harley PDF shows in the cb module installation on the last page under service parts. I have the overlay harness, I have the console harness I have everything except for the cb module wire harness that the PDF states. When I went to look at what the dealer was telling me, there were no connectors under the seat for the console harness to plug into. I believe this is where that harness comes into play as I don't believe the console harness get routed up into the fairing from there.

Reason: .
man I'd just find a console that someone took off an Ultra and slap it on there. Be a lot cheaper.
When I pulled all that crap off my FLHTK, I think I wound up selling that $1200 HD harness (Ultra harness) for $125, center console for next to nothing, etc.
UltraNutz, I looked for something like that when I started buying the parts needed but never found anything like that. So I purchased everything I needed and even read a couple of other threads where others have done this project and one person even listed every part required along with the prices. Never did I see the wire harness that I am "missing". I even told the dealer to just get the corresponding plug and make a harness. Well yesterday I call the dealer to see what the progress was and they stated that they came up with a creative wiring solution and were going to test it today to see if everything works and if so, button it up.
austinslider, If I had a couple of weeks to spare and didn't have everything already, I would definately hit you up on parts. My wife needs it on and working by the 22nd of this month. But thank you.
pp6000v2 is correct. The harness that goes from the console and plugs into the main harness is # 77121-08.
69200703 is a jumper harness that goes between the CB module and the Overlay harness. Why is this needed when the overlay harness will plug right into the back of the CB module?
