Default HU Recommendation Help
  • I've decided to either go with a Sony MEX-M70BT Marine radio or the Kenwood KDC-X998. Any recommendations on which unit would be better?

Tough decision. They are both great units. I know, I know not much help. Flip a coin.

What is the rest of your set up?

I have a 998 and picked it specifically for the separate front and rear X-overs, gains, and HPF’s so I can could have different adjustments in the fairing speakers from the 6X9’s in the bags and lids.

I have the BT 4180 amp with BT 7.1 in the fairing. After I purchase the HU I will probably go with lower fairings and put the Titan 6.5's. In the future I will add the 6x9 in the Hog tunes lids.
