If you could both snap and post a pic that would be great to help others decide, I didn't want to chance a set not fitting correctly and went with the CVO grills.

I didn't want to spend all this money completely re-doing my audio again and then buy cheap grills that didn't fit and have it be an eye sore for me.

That looks good, I can do that. Saved myself $55 too. Thanks for the tip.

No problem. I would really rather have the harley ones, but I just don't understand the placement of the Harley logo right in the middle blocking the tweeter.

So my BT 6.5 speakers and RF grills pictured above, as well as a BT supplied set of grills came in yesterday. I go to install them and the RF grill won't fit into the recess. I got out a ruler and did some measuring. The recess has a slight taper to it, and by eye it looks to be 6 3/4 across the flat botton. The RF grill is 7 inches across, the BT is 7 3/16. These are not genuine HD lowers, they're the Mutazu knock offs so I can only assume that the recess is smaller than a genuine CVO enclosure. Now what? I don't like the look of a flush mounted speaker (that I'd have to space out). I previously ran a set of grills from a failed set of Polk MM 651's with the Infinity 62.11's. I guess I'll try those next.

I have knock off lowers and the RF's didn't fit either, and a set of Focals that were supposed to fit, I had to cut. In the end the expensive CVO ones fit perfect.

The lowers on my bike are actually Harley made. Maybe that's why they fit just fine on mine?

I wouldn't be surprised if the cheap ones are actually metric, but who knows? I suspect yours being genuine is the difference.
