19.1 flash has anyone done this and is it worth listening to dealer cry about doing yet another flash.
I can not do without fade and need more predictable sound, so pissed off never have spent so much money on a great product and been so disappointed. Harley can shove this system up there /// .BT had better come out with double din fix before next summer or I am going back to ear buds.
What exactly are you asking? The software updates you can do yourself with a thumb drive. I have read that the latest updates have not messed with any flashes if that is what you are worried about. Have you already had your head unit flashed by the dealer? The software updates and the dealer flash are 2 totally different things.
I did the update in the midst of trying flashes (used to work at the dealership and service manager is a friend). I say f**k it, lets just do the update and see what happens. Volume is the same, bluetooth audio sounds better, usb audio sounds like crap. Other than that, seems fine.
All I can say is I type bad if question is miss leading , yes I did radio update my self and was asking if anyone had gone from 00offbin to 135offbin and liked that better also for me the 19.1 flash did change radio output and not for the better.
Sorry but come to the conclusion that each person with after market amps /speakers are on there own trial and error nothing is the same even when same down load/bin file supposedly is taking place.
I had 00offbin loaded, which sounded ok before last 19.1 flash then crap after went to dealer with biketronics latest download info had them load that which was same as previse instructions except 4 speaker instead of eight and the way you select amps. System sounds better than ever had to turn gains up but the midds and real bass that was missing is finally there no more updates no more playing with this danm radio until something super special comes out.
I feel your pain, know my system could sound better without all this messing around. When a good replacement kit comes out the Boom! head unit is history.
