Is there any performance difference between connecting your music storage device (in my case, an iPhone) to the infotainment system via Bluetooth or the USB connection?
I will soon be taking delivery of my new Limited and would prefer to do the Bluetooth thing if I don't loose anything in the wireless connection.
USB should be smoother and less prone to lock ups on both sides (device and boom). Also WIFI and BT can "fight" each other occasionally for radio signal, causing BT to "skip".
USB is better. Simple as that... as it is hard-wired and no loss of "quality" (keep in mind a high bitrate mp3 will sound better than a low bitrate).
FLAC/WAV is (way) better but a. no support on unit (I believe) and b. takes 'way" more space per song on your usb drive or phone.
