Jim if it were my bike I would notch the area the speaker is hitting so long as the fairing support was not compromised. I think you'll be fine.

We want to know how it sounds!

It's not structural I am sure.. just a surround for the speaker. I will take as small an area out as I can.

Not sure if the 6.5 Biketronic's Titan II and the Moto's are the same size, but the Titan II fits no problem. But Biketronics has a speaker adaptor that tilts the Titans so the tweeter is pointed directly at you. (I know the moto's have a tiltable tweeter) This also moves it away from the speaker pod.
Here is a link to BT 6.5:

Did you try it without the speaker magnet rubber surround off?
Do you have ARC adaptors?
After install curious about what flash you use and .bin file you end up with.

Hmm, never thought about taking rubber surround off,, can't change anything on the speaker performance,, can it? If there is an adapter I didn't get it... I'll check without the rubber "Tire" on the speaker magnet,,,

Some like it better when pics are in posts, easer when on mobile devices. No worries.
But how to:
Add picture to post click on postcard looking icon on toolbar
Add thumbnail that you click on to open picture, pdf, ect click on "Go Advanced" then click on paperclip icon.

On the speaker pods I sealed them up with a seam sealer then put them together. I let them sit overnight then installed speakers so I dont know how close my speakers are to the pod.
On your flash, I had them do Biketronics recommended way (at the time it was option 1 in the new instructions) and doesn't sound right.
I will have them do option 2 hopefully next weekend as this weekend is the Milwaukee Rally and they are probably busy.

The Arc Moto's fit without the "Tire" around the magnet,, they DO TOUCH the housing, and hold the top up by 3/32" or less,, they draw down with the screws easily and seal around the edge nicely, (distorting the housing a little, not the speaker "Frame") My question is this,, what purpose did/does the rubber on the magnet serve? I'll put it back on and cut the edge off where it would touch the enclosure,, so it would be on 80% of the magnet anyway.

Thanks for the suggestion Timbo, do you have a clue what purpose that rubber served? Gann? Haze?
