You could put your REM power on a hidden toggle switch and not let the amp get power till you've started the bike.

2010 Limited with some stuff

Thought about that too but since it only pops if I don't start it right away after I turn on the ignition it shouldn't be a problem anymore as long as I keep a good battery in the key fob. Thought the pop stopper would work and it was cheap enough to try it.

I have had the same issue for about a year. I have tried running a separate ground wire, power delays (like the stinger) on both head unit and amp, still get a pop. Doesn't happen when the pre wires are disconnected from head unit. I figure it is something with the Sony head unit. About to replace it as my winter project (among other tweaks).

The only strange item in the setup is that the RCA jacks are mis matched between BT amp and Sony head unit. For example, the right rear out put from headunit doesn't power the right rear input on amp. Took me a while to get RCA / balance fader figured out until I ignorned the labels. It's been a while since I installed a stero, but never had that happen before. So...figure I will remove the head unit from the equation before I send the amp back...
