Only thing I have not tried , reason is have to go back to factory flash and when they built the magic box it was designed to fix what was then factory flash and for me I don't think todays factory flash has same dsp or line out volt settings as did when new plus I would need two of them now.
I have read up on the Magic Box and I may go with it but do you have to purchase the "Aftermarket Amplifier/Speaker Connection Kit with the Magic Box"?
I just installed one and it really robbed a LOT of volume ... Coupled with the RF pbr300x2 which really prefers high level input, I actually have a system that is probably quieter than it was originally. I will add a line diver in the next several days to try to get some actual signal level into the amp and see what hat does for me.
I will likely end up with the BT system sooner than later ... Once they have speakers again ...
I'm thinking about getting the magic box for my 15SG. I have the power acoustik rz4-2000D amp and I'm planning on putting kickers in the upper fairing and not sure about the speakers for the lower fairing. I have a pair of the biketronics Titan II 71s, but from what I've read they want fit in the upper or lower fairings. Are the connections straight forward?
Thanks,
Brian
Line driver installed - getting the line signal to a reasonable level really woke things up. The RF amp REALLY doesn't like low signals ... Magic box, line driver, RF pbr300x2, polk mm651 ... Decent sounding "half-assed" temporary system ... That is mostly referring to the install ...
