I have the parts delivered from Billtronics, the breakout harness for speaker wire, the line levels. The faring is off and I have fitted the RF 300'in no prob, but the SS 1000d is another story. It's tight and I don't want to hack anything up to make it fit. I've had no luck with a mount that will give a clean install with control access. I'm pretty sure I will use the 1000, but mount it in the tourpak. I will be selling the brand new RF 300x4 with mounting bracket if all works out with my tourpak mount.

I'm in the middle of the tourpak install. So it's the 1000d 4. Not enough room in the faring. Hope it sounds good when I get done.
What are the recommended tuning specs on the amp as far as gain , crossover, etc? How about the line levelers from Billtronics? I'm looking for a good base line to ear tune.
