The 4180 is IN!!
Things went pretty smoothly. The only real issue is fitting everything in there. I was determined not to put the fairing back on "unhappy"... that is... under pressure getting it to tighten down. That proved to be a bit of a chore.
First issue is where to put the big breakout harness. I went with Paul's location....
&%&$ fairing wouldn't clear. Had to tuck it in a bit more...
Next problem was the RCA cables.... they hit the fairing (I mounted the LL's with heavy duty velcro)....
So, I moved the LL's back in some, & rerouted the RCAs...
Now the garage door opener transmitter is the thing hitting lol. Moved it to the front of the amp...
And that was the final arrangement.
But.... lol.... I still couldn't get the fairing to close on the brake side. Almost, but there was a gap I just couldn't get rid of. This took more time than I like to admit. The culprit was the speaker connection plug....
Moved that back out of the way & a beam of light came down from the sky, the angels sung....

Thanks again to all for the help along the way. This forum is awesome

Thanx for all the pics
Paul
EDIT: Ride it around a couple of hours then recheck the RCA connectors mine came loose. When you remove fairing check for any type of riding condition "rubbing".

What am I doing wrong?
(If you look close you can see the 7.1's thumping behind the Boom grills
)Fire-up some Eagles, Rush or Zepplin and get back to us with another video.
I'm sure it will sound much better, at least to my Classic Rock Ears.
HEY, I didn't make the rules.
