Had spoken with several of you last week and still need some help. I have decided to go with the following:
Sony MEX-70BT
Soundstream PN4,1000d
Biketronics install kit
Now this is where I get confused, do I go with
A) DD VO-M65 midrange drivers
DD VO-B3 horns
B) Hertz SV165 6.5
Hertz ST 135 horns
And still undecided on rear pod speaker 6.5?
Kappa 62.11
DD CSX 6.5
BT TitanII's
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Those PA speakers sound very muddy with that amp. You need a better sound quality amp rather than power. You are also better off giving the tweeters they're own channel. Also at the volume you'd want in front of your face there is no sound difference between the ST25 and 35. The 35 looks/fits better mounted that's all.
I would run two amps.....and that's a good recommendation by Cam.
A B54 one channel for midranges another channel for the horns. Then run a B2 (or B52) to Moto's if your budget allows. Mid ranges don't have any real bass to them, you'll need to cross them pretty high. The Moto's have a ton of bass so you'll have some nice balance. From the ones you listed: Titan II then Kappas. I wouldn't use the DD's.
Alright Haze and Gannicus. Thanks for the feed back. I know that yall are the experts on here and hoping you can help me here. I have a 2010 ultra needs an upgrade bad. I have a budget of around 1000 dollars. Wanting to upgrade head unit with amp and four 6.5 inch speakers. What would be the best bang for my buck? The more I read different forums and site on facebook the more confused I get. Please help.

I'd stay with the SS 1000D. Moto 602's in the fairing and Polk MM651's in the rear pods. All ran with the Sony MEX-M70BT. If a little more money drops out of the sky on down the road. lids are really nice.
