Ok guys I need a hand shopping for a new HU. I'm pinching pennies here so I may need to do my whole audio package in stages unless I can find some killer deals on amp/speakers.

I would say that a marine-grade radio is a must, I've had the water shield cover in the past and really don't want to go down that road again. I ride year round and rain has a tendency to find me. I also need to be able to use my handlebar controls. And I want XM radio. CD isn't important at all.

I need to do speakers at the same time, thinking Kappa 6.5's, still have no idea what to put in the rear pods. Bike is an 06 FLHT. I don't mind buying used if it can meet my needs so please don't hesitate to recommend a discontinued model. Thanks so much!
