Infinity -waterproof ?

Default Infinity -waterproof ?
All,
Lots of you have recommended the Infinity Kappa speaker to me and i plan on getting some to replace the one ohm speakers on the CVO.

Looking at the website, are they waterproof (ok for the bike) as i cannot find that anywhere.

First you should read how manufactures determine if a speaker is waterproof. Each one differs.

For this is the reason I have a Heritage. Never have issues with speakers, recalls, etc lol

I'm curious about this too Rowle. I'm about to undertake a upgrade to my 2015 Ultra Limited as I plan to put Kappa Infinity's in my rear pods and notice that there is a lot of exposed circuity around the tweeter underside near the gain switch.

The Kappas are not waterproof but they hold up well to the elements. They are one of the forum favorites and I can't recall any reports of failure because they got wet.

My Kappa's have been through some massive Florida storms.. no problems yet.
