To start off, I really appreciate this forum. You guys and the knowledge you provide to the novice is great. I am now chasing perfection and I'm going broke doing it.
I have a 2015 Street glide with a Kenwood X998 HU with a BT 4180.14 Amp. In the fairing I have Hertz HCX 165's (in the harley pods) and in the lids, I'll be installing Arc Moto's 692 hopefully within the next week.
My question is, do you guys have a suggested list of HU settings to optimize this set up? What I'm looking for is LOUD, CLEAR and being able to clearly hear my tunes doing 75 mph. My typical music choice is Classic Rock/Rock
Side note/question.. In my closet I have a set of BT 7.1 Pro's. To achieve what I'm looking, should I put the BT 7.1 back in the fairing?

Thanks again for all of your help and feedback.
I'd go back in with the BT Pro's, BT Brackets and BT line levelers. Pro's sound better than the Hertz 165's IMO and for loud clear bass you can't beat the 692's!

Thanks for the input. Do I still need the line levelers with the Kenwood HU?
Well, I've switched back to the pro's to test them out. Any suggestions about specific settings in the HU to optimize the sound? In doing research on the HU, it appears there is a lot of adjustments that can be made to this HU.
Your best bet it to ride out to a deserted area with no one to annoy and leave the bike running and start making adjustments from there. Kind of hard to give any pre-set notes when everyone hears differently. Also how you listen (CD,AM/FM,Satellite, cell phone USB/BT, thumb drive) to your music will sound different with different settings.
