BT4180 issue/troubleshooting
Fully charged battery,
Disconnected and reconnected the battery,
It has the latest firmware.
Next I'm pulling the fairing to check wiring and connections, but wonder if anyone else experienced this and has ideas?
Thanks!!
I would've done the same preliminary steps. Disconnect ground and see if it re-set the radio.

This didn't work:
1. Turn IGN OFF. Wait 15 seconds.
2. Press and hold power/mute button. Turn IGN? to ACC.
3. Continue to press power button for 2 seconds after the WARNING screen is displayed.
4. Release power/mute button and accept warning.
The service menu may display Diag Service not Availiable when a menu option is initially selected. This message will clear once the system has finished performing the power-on process. Options are: DTCs, Audio, Display, Key input, Component menus, Version info, Reset, Touchscreen.
Reset: Pre-calibration reset: Restores fatory default settings. This is recommended when there are radio symptoms and no DTCs*
Post calibration save: Archives customers settings so that they can be restored after a Post calibration Reset.
Post calibration reset: Resets the radio to factory default settings and restores the last archive data stored during Post calibration Save.
After check all connections, you will want to disconnect the amp and just run a the speaker direct. This would one of the first troubleshooting steps the dealer would take.
Get ready to ride home and all of a sudden everything works again. Thoughts? Call Biketronics, reinstall the amp? Go to dealer and see if there are error codes in the history?
Almost ready to ditch the aftermarket and go with HD Boom upgrade, at least then I wouldn't be pulling the amp and wondering if whatever happened to the radio will be covered by the warranty.

Press and HOLD the MUTE button while turning the ignition on with the run switch in the RUN position. Wait until the confirmation message comes up. Confirm and release the MUTE button.
DTCs will be first option highlighted. Select it to see if there are any codes.
Since you have a four channel amp, did you have bike flashed for four speakers for fader? The reason I ask is if you don't have the rear speakers hooked up while you have the BT4180 amp out you will have two DTCs that show up. If you do, scroll to the right and select the "i" (information) and one will be rr (right rear) speaker open and the other will be lr (left rear) speaker open.
Hope this helps
