Do the oem lids that are paint matched. Find a set of good 6x9 and use the vtwin audio adapter. Make sure you buy the HD speaker grills too plus the screws. All together you're looking about 800-1k for a solid set up. I just looked into this but I'm holding off to mess with other things first.

I went the OEM route like above. Roughly $630 going through boardtracker HD and V-Twin audio.

Thanks I would not have been happy if I had ordered the grills and received them only to find out I needed to also order the screws.

I did OEM too, when I bought my bike, I talked them into a discount on the lids, had to wait 30 days to get them, painted to match. Thought grills came with, when I opened them at the parts counter, he thought so too,, nope, they come with the factory boom speakers. The grills are about 35.00 each,, however since we both assumed they'd come with lids, he sold them to me for 1/2 price, 35.00 for the pair. Kudos to my dealer!

No 6x9 adapters were out when I bought mine,, wish they were, I'd be running all Arc Moto speakers,, as it is I have the BT 5x7,, not disappointed in them at all.
