Default BT Brackets

Just out of curiosity what speakers work with little mod with the BT brackets and which ones are equivalent or better than the BT 7.1 pro or Titan 2?
A 4180 will be powering them.

I see you have BT Pro's in your sig. The Hertz HCX would be a significant drop off in quality from what you currently have.

Ok, I was just seeing what my options were. I have to get ahold of BT tomorrow. I bought the pros second hand and I'm getting a lot of distortion out of one of them. I looked at the speaker I can feel and hear something rubbing when you press on the cone. The center aluminum piece is rubbing against the paper cone housing... If that makes sense.

yeah that does make sense. Well if you're speakers are busted and your looking for another option those aren't bad as the HCX are last years outgoing model and lots of places have them on sale very cheap. If you were going to swap out a good set of pros for them I'd recommend otherwise.

Then again, my down time shouldn't be too bad because BT is a great company to do business with. I just didn't know if I would be able to sell my pros and use that to fund a comparable set of fairing speakers and 6x9 in the bags.
Thanks Haze for the input, I know you're somewhat of magician.

Hey Haze, if I stay with the pro up front what 6x9 in the HT lids will compliment and match them the best in your opinion? I'm running a 4180

Hertz HCX or Hertz Mille Pro.

On a tighter budget the Infinity 693's are loud as hell, but kinda bright. Not too bad since they are in the lids and not right in front of you.
