On a tighter budget the Infinity 693's are loud as hell, but kinda bright. Not too bad since they are in the lids and not right in front of you.
Right on man, appreciate the help! What's your suggestion with a rear harness? Is there someone who builds an easy pnp one or do I need to look at HD's overpriced one.
Another thing I'm curious about, does a coaxial speaker in the lids lead to them being susceptible to water?

Just run two new speakers wires to the back. A roll of speaker wire is 10 bucks, and taking off the tank is four bolts. Should be easy enough to do.

Run search here on the hogtune lids for the rushmores. Quite a few dudes have posted how they modified the (took off) the tweeter bridge they come with and watersealed it. Then add some hydrophobic cloth over the speakers. Cycle sounds sells some convienient 6X9 strips.

Awesome!! I would've went with HD lids but I won these so I'm pretty stoked to be able to throw speakers back there. They are the loaded lids so I'll prolly run the crappy HT speakers for now or until I blow them lol

Before u do too much work covering the HT speakers with hydro speaker cloth, I think they are advertised as waterproof.
When u decide to swap those out, shoot me a PM and I can chat u thru the transition. Basically ur gonna just cut the tweeter arm off so that u restrain that little plastic side piece that u will silicone in place to provide the H2O seal. This give u a nice flat 6x9 oval all the way around to add what unlike. Hydro cover all of the future speaks for a little extra protection.
Enjoy!!!!!
