Default Amp ground wire?

What gauge ground/hot wire is everyone using for the BT-2180?

I wanted to run 8 gauge but I don't see that being possible, it appears the inlets are to small to feed that size wire in to the amp.....maybe I'm wrong. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

The amps come with a wiring kit. Believe it's 12awg for power and 14 for ground.

Yes you are correct, I just remember my car audio days, and was going to try and run the largest gauge I could...thanks for the quick reply.

Normally you should but because of their efficient design those amps don't pull enough to require the larger wire.

Can get away with running bigger wire with most amps but the BT amps have a little different style that holds the wire in. Pretty much anything larger than 12awg will not fit.
