OK, let me start off by saying that I am aware that there is better, newer, prettier equipment out there however this is a unique opportunity.
My son was going through some boxes from a couple years ago and discovered a barely used Alpine CDA-9885 head unit that he had no use for so he gave it to me. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-07cDlEV...-CDA-9885.html
Question is, anyone have any opinions, info, good or bad on this unit? I'm planning on putting it in with the metra kit and ASWC-1 controls.
There is an external Bluetooth unit that can be had that I would like to get if it is still available.

Thanks Gurus-o-Tunos!
It's got a 4V pre out!! Go for it bro!! Those Alpines last forever!
owners manual says to activate the Bluetooth I need this. Alpine Kce-300bt Bluetooth Add On Adapter Interface Module
But no one has one anymore, and if they did its $149. Kinda defeats the purpose. any ideas on a cheaper Bluetooth adapter I could wire to 12v and control with the head unit?
