Hey guys, I am deep into the system upgrade on my 2015 Ultra. I have 2 Cerwin Vegas. They do both fit in the fairing BTW (I will post pictures when I have it done). My questions is where the hell to you grab the front and rear channels coming out of the BOOM HU to hook the RCA into the Amp??? I looked all over for instructions and can't find them anywhere.... Thanks!
There are wires in the harness from the HU out, no RCA's on the stock HU. My stock plug harness' plugged into a harness from BT which had wires which went into the amp. Then RCA's out of the amp to my LL which go to my speakers. My RGS had a separate plug for rears. (Ultra probably does too)

Do you have the two BT Line Levelers and Breakout Harness as suggested in your other thread?

speaker wires coming out of the stock 6.5 Ultra unit are as follows. Pin #s are marked on the connector

Other questions I have are:
1. Since I am running 2 4-channel AMPs, need to use RCA "Y" splitters to go from the Amp RCAs (which has 4 RCAs) to the LL RCAs (which only has 2 RCAs)?
2. I am confused on how to wire the speakers. I currently have the upper fairing set (which I have mounted in the BT brackets) and the rear touring speakers with existing wires. I don't have the stock wiring in place for the lower fairing or the Saddlebag lids. Do I just run all new speaker wires or are there wiring kits that I should be using?
3. I am hoping to use the fader controls on the HU. Do I need to do anything special with the speaker wiring to enable this?
Sorry for all the rookie Questions, thanks in advance!

Look on the amps. There will be a 2 or 4 channel switch. If one amp is dedicated to front and one rear, put amp to 2 channel and you only need one set of inputs per amp. I have some good audison y splitters I am not using but you shouldn't need them.

your amp as stated above by slyedog should have a 2/4 channel switch on the inputs. this allows you to use a single pair of front RCA inputs from radio to drive both front outputs (all 4 channels) of the amp to the speakers. Same with rear.

when doing stuff like this (basically replacing everything) I don't use anything stock. I run 2 sets of speaker wires to rear for the pods and lids and then run new wires to the lowers, as well as the fairing speakers. Can you use the stock stuff, sure

just make sure whichever amp you designate as front that you use the LL/RCA combination for the front output of the radio and then wire the front speakers, both fairing and lowers to it then do the same for the rear

everybody here is a rookie, including myself. Only dumb questions are the ones that don't get asked and then the dummerer questions are the ones that don't get asked and wind up costing you more time and $.

Nutz, Slye, I wasn't aware of this, just learned something new!!!
