Intrigued by these diamond amps, as my audio senseis are telling me that a high profile shop is also talking up the new 800 diamond as being field tested as high as 174 X 4 @ 4 which is well above specs.

That would be correct also my friend. We havery only tested 2 of the HXMs 800.4 but we got very close to those same results. 168-173. Diamond Amps are not to be messed with lol. They are definitely some of my favorite

what is the the footprint of the 800.4? is it 2 ohm stable?

Yes sir it is 2 ohm stable. It is rated at 200x4 @2 ohm. Give me a few to get the actual physical measurements for you.

Very interesting. The question now is will the 800.4 fit under the fairing of the Rushmore and pre Rushmore?

It fits under the Rushmore road glide fairing. But you have to remove the 2 tabs ontop of the head light. I can not speak to Fitment 100 percent to any other model as we have not installed any other than 3 Rushmore road glides.

9.35" L x 5.27" W x 1.75" H

That is the physical specs.
