Brother you are missing the gist of my question all the way around man. I'm asking you if the mount plate plays any interference in hitting THE BACK SIDE of the Phase7 headlight. Obviously it doesn't if you've had the fairing back together.

The headlight does not stick out in the back of the fairing. There is no problems with the mount touching the back of the light. I hope I got it this time....

You may want to reinforce the inner fairing brackets where they attach at the top of the fairing. They have a history of failing even without the extra weight of an amp. They make kits but I made my own out of some heavy aluminum.
