Default Speedy System

Hi all...newbie here...so far I have read a lot here but it seems that there was no specific mention of any system that sounds great at high speed; say above 100mph. Is there such a setup or it's just my wishful thinking?

Riding a 16 RGS now with Hogtunes Rev RG package which I am soon to ditch

Well Tiger,

A system can be done that can be heard pretty well @ 100 MPH. Most of what you're going to hear at that speed is going to come from your faring.

What kind of budget do you have to work with? That will really determine whether you're going to be able to put a system together as you're wanting.

There are some guys on here that have some systems I believe you could hear on the space shuttle, hopefully they will weigh in on this

you want some kind of Pro Audio setup.

Here's my current setup and I can ASSURE you I can hear it at 100+. I could even tell when one of my rear speakers was out (bad amp, corrected now).

Fairing
DD VO 6.5's
DD B3 Horns
Powered by a Fosgate TM400x2

Lids
JL Audio M770 CCX
Powered by a bridged JL MX280/4

you can get all the DD products marine coated

Any DD Audio Product bearing the Marine Grade logo incorporates water resistant features enabling it to be used in applications where moderate exposure to moisture will not result in damage to the product.

Marine Grade products are not waterproof, and submersion or excessive moisture exposure may result in product failure. DD Audio Marine Grade products are not certified for saltwater environments.

How many speakers? If more than two...what locations. Hertz SPL with Hertz horns is another very loud Pro Audio set up, and a bit louder than DD but not as punchy.

Hi haze...just 2 speakers in the faring...ok will ck out hertz out...by the way do you have advice what 6.5 in the faring to pair with BT4180? I notice some of the speakers like 602 and kappa are not weather-proof but may ppl here recommend them..is it safe?

If you want the "loudest" at 100mph. The 4180 is the wrong amp.

I don't use anything marine or waterproof and live in Miami. My stuff gets wet all the time.
