So I'm getting beyond confused on all of this tuning. Sounds amazing in garage. Tuning with bike running but get out on road and blah. Sounds distorted. Butncome to a stop and all good. Is there anyone near Kansas City that could tune the bike for me. Pn41000d. Hertz hcx. Pioneer pros. Kenwood x998. Also if no help near. Is there anyway to tune without bike running(getting hot) like using a charger to get 14.5volts but not smoking my battery??
I can only suggest the most basic help but surely the pros can get more in depth. Be sure you have the AVC and loudness settings turned off for starters. Oh and check out the stickies at top of the Audio Forum. Edit; I coulda sworn there was a sticky on setting gains.

To me sometimes i notice that the bass of a song mixes with the exhaust tones and it sounds off. Then like u said, at idle it goes back to siunding normal.

Very generic advice:
Amp - both channels just a hair shy of 12 o'clock and I'm full pass.
Radio - leave EQ flat, no bass boost, no loudness, turn drive EQ on
Go to your pro settings, xover front at 80hz - 12db for the HCX, for the 6x9 60hz - 6db.
