I will mess with this all tonight, cant thank you guys enough for the help, done plenty of my cars and boat stereos but feel like an idiot on motorcycle stuff. Will post what happens this weekend . Again big big thanks!!!!
I held on as long as I could, life is SOOO much easier now.
My only complaint: I don't like trying to find what I want to listen to, it's kind of a pita scrolling through my phone
Totally agree with that complaint bro!!! Have a close friend making the move and the music search functionality is a top priority for him. Thinking he is leaning towards the Aquatic Gen 2 because of the display and phone storage but still not sure if there are any solid after market HUs that have on screen music library functionality. I know the Gen 2 has the pretty non analog screen but unsure about functions.

Best one I've seen so far believe it or not is the Fosgate PMX-5, the Aquatic won't work with Rushmore bikes yet.
I've been looking at some Pioneer units today actually but none really tickle my fancy.
I've been using my phone as well as my tablet to run things, the tablet is to clunky and the text is smaller. Phone is working well but you know me, it has to be perfect or I loose interest lol
I'll pretty much guarantee the Sony will be pulled before too long lol
I just installed a Aquatic Gen 2. I am mostly satisfied. I loved the ease of installation. The functions are awesome. I pretty much only run my phone for music. The phone holder is the sh#$. And it looks stock.
I thought the sound quality would be a little better, but still think it was worth it. And over 40 MPH, you lose a ton a quality anyways.

That on screen only works with Iphone, or i pod. Heads uo there. At least with the album pictures and what not. The gen 2 has the usb playback. Just don't expect to be able to change folders with thumb controls. This is where the Kenwood units stand out most. 100% hand control to change song, folder and source, on top of avc, or mute with the biketronics interface.
