Default Bad amp?

While riding Friday my right speaker quit working has today I tore everything apart and switched channels so I ran the Left Channel to the right speaker and it worked just fine I ran the right channel to the left speaker and you can hear sound but it's very faint so I switched it back to the proper sides and the left channel still works fine and the right is still very faint I used a test speaker and hook it up to the right Channel and it did the same thing. I assume the amp has to be bad for the left channel to work fine on 3 speakers and the right to barely have any sound. I would have thought it wouldn't work at all if it were going bad. The damn amp is only a yearish old. I swapped the rca cables to the opposite side and got the same thing

Vega b2. I already got a Mico 2v2 and Mille pros from badazz on the way.. I don't have time to wait to troubleshoot issues. Seems like it had to be the amp so i just bought new stuff

Could be head unit as well
Try a DMM on output and see if you get the expected 2 to 4 volts output with a test tone

seeing as you are replacing the amp anyway, that will verify

I'm not ruling out the head unit but it's new, maybe 3 months old. Still I switched the rcas around on the head unit and the right channel was still out on the amp.. In my novice mind that makes me think it's all the amp.. I could be wrong and I might have just spent too much money on amp and speakers I didn't need but it it'd the head unit I can always run to Walmart anytime and get one to get me thru the weekend

You can also try plugging a speaker or head phones into the HU RCA's to check them.
