Amp quick disconnect
Just got my Dead Center fairing in. Adding a JL audio 280/4, but trying to figure out a quick disconnect for the amp. JL audio says to run 8 awg wire. Thinking of a quick disconnect near the fairing. What do you guys use? Will this work?
I just wasn't sure how much power the amp draws from the battery. Before the harley 3 years ago, I was hot and heavy in RC cars and trucks. Figured lipo batteries create a lot of power and thought about using those connectors. I just don't know about how weather friendly they would be.

I have been looking at some of these for a little while to make a power harness for a detachable tour pak in the future.

I am not sure if I am more thankful about you showing these connectors, or that website
Both are very cool! Us non RC guys would have never known you can get wiring supplies and tools at a site like that, but it makes sense since you guys do much of your own building and repairs. Good find, thanks!
