I bought a replacement 6.5 nav unit. Did not know it was an EU unit. I'm being told I can download the US maps from HD and load them on the Nav unit via usb stick.

Somehow, I do not think this is this easy. I'm certain this unit does not have the most current software. 1.17.xx
