Default Help with speaker selection

2015 road glide base model,
i just bought all the wiring need to run 8 speakers on 2 diamond micro 4v2 amps from vtwin audio as well as 6x9 adapter for speaker lids, adapter for lower leg fairing and tour pack. I don't have no clue what speakers to purchase to get the best performance from these amps. I ride 70+ I want clear sound at high speeds and nice sound ripping through the city streets. Cost is no issue although I do like to save a penny that's why I'm doing it my self. Almost sent my bike to a place in Carson Ca called audio motor sports they quoted me $3800 for 6 6X9 and 6 6.5.

i only want to run 6 6.5 upper lower fairing and tour pak and a pair of 6x9 in lids(lids are hd new n box) please guide me in the right direction for full use of these amps thanks I have a son on his way end of feb beginning of march this may just be the last mod I do to my bike for a while. Price is not a factor as long it's the best out come.

Man 3800.00 for that is rip off. I think you'll want more juice/power than you can get from your amps.....I wouldn't get those. For your tour pack pods, most good speakers are a bit too deep to fit in that location. Do you mind putting a 1 inch spacer back there to fit better speakers? Also do you want all your amps in the fairing? With a fairly decent budget you could do murder. I've some ideas of a few things that could work for you.

brother I wouldn't even bother with that crap. You'll end up at the post office shipping that stuff back. If it were me, I'd go with a bigger 4 channel in the fairing, one channel to your lids, another channel bridged to 2 sets of PA speakers in the lowers and tour pack pods, then a good set of components up front with an amp bridged to them. You'll want some BT line levelers for that HU. That thing would scream.

damn doing too much. I thought you wrote the Vtwin rear and lowers SPEAKERS.

Yeah you'll want the rear spacers for some better speakers. Not sure what "spacers" they have for lowers although you might need speaker grills if that's what they offered? Yeah cancel the two Diamond Micro4 amps. I think you can do much better.

It look like the Keaks has lower speaker boxes and the CVO grills already in place. Shouldn't need any adapters.
