I'm looking to add the CB/Bike-to-Bike module to my 2017 Ultra Ltd. The HD website fitment shows part #76000486 but the accompanying photo shows part #76000188. Is this just an outdated photo? Is there a difference between 486 and 188?
I've found a used 188 on eBay but before or Purchasing want to ensure proper fitment. Thanks
I'm not sure if anyone in here really knows how the new CB packages are put together. From the looks of it, the 188 is just the CB module itself. The 486 includes the 188 plus the mounting bracket.
Plugging in the unit and screwing in the antenna is probably the easy part. No idea how the PTT (Push To Talk) switch gets added on after the fact. Especially on a '17, you're probably better off talking to the dealer and asking what all is required.

Thanks, yes I confirmed with the dealer that part #486 is with the bracket while part #188 is the cb module only. The PTT switch is added by swapping out the right hand control with stock unlit switch or both sides with a lighted kit. Also need to add cb antenna and have headunit firmware updated.
