The brakes are pumped currently on the dsp. First the unit that will be used is not available quite yet to the public. Second the OEM integration is still getting fine tuned. About ready. With Haze out for next month or so, and my bike torn down still for winter mods, it will be end of February before any true feedback will come. I can say on the bench it works perfectly. Now for the 6.5 unit, Haze will have to get there when he returns as I do not have a Rushmore bike and can't test that portion. However when it does get done we will let everyone know. If one simply cannot wait you can get other units in a much larger form factor that will work , just must buy one that has the input summing for OEM integration. I personally would wait the short time to get the new one to be released and hit market. Again it will be known to all when that time comes.
Hey Slye,
I read somewhere about a DSP that will have the ability to be tuned from outside the fairing via your smartphone. Is this the one you and Haze are talking about?
Where in this lovely Midwestern bliss are ya? I may be close by?
Me too, Eastern Nebraska but it was mid 50'S yesterday. Winter mods on the scoot helps the time pass quicker. I am also anxiously waiting on the DSP that is in the works. SF

I am unaware of one that does so. I know a few have Bluetooth modules that will allow direct wireless streaming. That is all I am aware of. Software typically too in depth to have an Android or Apple support I would think personally.

Gotcha. Maybe the Bluetooth is what I'm thinking of.

This is from the page i linked for the Rockford Fosgate DSR1:
"Bluetooth 4.0 Connectivity for convenient setup
Interactive Tuning Interface Controlled via Android/ iOS APP"
This dsp isnt out yet either and i dont have any clue if this will work any better or worse than what you and Haze are testing out.
Not to rain on anyone's DSP parade but I have no current urgency to install a DSP on my sled or replace my HU. Maybe that's because I don't know what I don't know but I will tell you that I have the RIGHT speakers and amps on my sled so I don't really give a shix about that fancy stuff until it has been proven to be worth the investment.
Yes, I'm calling out Slye and Bagger Audio Lab to beta test the hell out if this shix in the days to come, and I know they will indeed advance thus industry, but the best remedy is to be extremely patient, do your homework and buy the shix that works well with what u got and not buy shix hoping for a magic pill to come save the day.
Just saying!!!!
Properly aligned DSPs will be a huge benefit to this sled audio industry but there is only so much lipstick u can put on a pig, so buy the RIGHT **** first and enhance it with the DSP. The DSP aunt gonna fix a shixxy speaker or amp!!!!
Just sayin, again!!!!

This right here is why I posted the PSA thread. To attempt to freeze the hysteria before it starts. Dsp has not been mentioned here really and what T said is why I posted the thread I did. As Mr Miagi said, "Patience Daniel San" . T wait till I get my new amp. I will pm you and Gann what I got. Haze knows and I am excited to see what it does.
