A ribbon tweeter will not be very audible. Design for pure sound quality and hi fidelity. Home audio stuff. Not good for mobile audio. Also really old and not even in production anymore that I know of.

Research-research-research. It's great for its intended application as researching it first would reveal.
Best advice I could ever give you is Buy it-try it-test it THEN compare it to whatever tweeter recommended here your wanting to compare it to. The report your definitive results and readings from the testing here.
