Lower fairing speakers and what else is needed?
Okay, here is my deal. Just had a Biketronics 4180.14 amp installed along with Focal KRC 165s in upper fairing and Hertz MPX 690s in saddlebag lids. I now want to install speakers in lower fairing pods. I have a 2016 Street Glide Special and therefore, don't have lower fairings. Can you audio experts please help me out and provide suggestions as to what would be a good speaker and amp combo that would work well with the Focals in the upper fairing, Hertz MPX 690s in my lids and the Biketronics 4180.14. I am thinking about installing a BT 2180 two channel amp to power the lower fairing speakers and put a pair of Hertz MPX 165s in the lower fairing pods; however, I am looking for good tried and true advice as to what speaker and amp combo in the lower fairings will complement my existing set up.
Also, would someone also chime in as to the exact Harley lower fairing pods and additional parts that I will need for the install.
Thanks as always to those who monitor the audio page and provide us with sound real world advice.

In the lowers you need LOUD!! Due to the lowers being so far from your ears in the riding position. I've had everything from coaxials in the lowers to subs. Best application during all my testing have been mid range speakers. My friend Haze tested some affordable speakers for that location about a month ago which are highlighted in his new products thread. They are the Tempesta speakers. That said. Those are the speakers I would roll with if it was me.
You wouldn't need another amp. You would run the focals and tempesta's in parallel off the front two channels and run the Hertz off the back two channels.

Thanks for the recommendation. I will look into the Tempestas.
