Default Audio upgrade part deux

Amp and all the wiring (aside from speakers) will be done tonight.
Speaker lids ordered. Be here on the 17th.
Waiting on 2 people to get back to me on ordering the DD DX6x9 speakers.

How are you guys running the wires into your saddlebags?

I was thinking about drilling a hole and using a grommet to keep water out.

That's how I've always done them. A few here have also done quick connects so they can remove the bags. Hopefully someone will chime in shortly and tell you where you can get a grommet, unless you know already. I have several but honestly couldn't tell you where they came from.

Here's one example/link.

I was gonna use posi locks outside of the bags to ease removal.
I saw some people on google cut a notch for the wires to run in.
Living here in WA I need to waterproof this as much as possible with our rain. LOL

To keep the hole water proof that the wires run into the bag you can use a plastic cord grip. They are very inexpensive.
