Default Why the hell not keep adding more speakers?

Found a pair of Polk MM651 speakers on the garage shelf and a Soundstream ST4.1000. Forgot I had these left over from my other bike.

Think I'll put the amp in the tour pak and speakers in the pods. Looks like I'll have to rewire the crossovers so they will also be in the tour pak.
Use the existing speaker wiring and install a quick discoonnect for the ground and power. Then tap into the tour pak usb charger for the remote power.

Being as these speakers are a little over 2 ohms and the amp bridged: 250Wx2@4-ohms, will that be too much power for these speakers?

Test fit the speakers drop right in. The wires from the crossover feed right through the honeycomb bass tubes.

What to do about a line leveler way up front?

Y split and run a long pair interconnects back to amp. DO NOT even think of bridging that amp to those lower impedance speakers. Keep it stereo and save the other 2 channels for additions later or leave them idle.

Yeah - That little amp is rated at 125W @ 2 ohms which is plenty juice to run the Polks in the rear pods. As Slye stated. Don't even think about bridging that amp to those speakers as they are 2.7 ohm speakers. You can only bridge 4 ohm speakers.

Got it, no bridging.
BT has a universal LL that I can mount in the TP.

Speakers in and wires run. Tomorrow I'll get the amp and LL installed.

How do you guys mount the amp in the tour pak? Velcro to the liner, drill through the tour pak and secure it with stainless steel fasteners?

If you drill and mount to the front/curve you can get spacers at Home Depot to compensate for the curve. You want to keep the tourpack from getting straightened out when you mount it to the fiberglass. They come in all different sizes to accommodate for the space needed to keep it mounted flat.
