Hey guys, got my head unit, amp and I know what speakers I'm buying for the front stage. I'm looking to find out what else I'm going to need for the complete install on a 2012 flhtk. A few suggestions for speakers for the tour pack would be great too. I'd like to use the dd d series coaxial but I don't know if that's doable. Thanks all
Glad you chimed in, I'm more or less modeling my build after yours, the whole do it right the first time thing. I've got a arc xdi 600.4 and a sony mex70bt and I'm buying dd aw 6.5 for the fairing. Still up in the air on the tweets. Have you got the t2 dialed in to your satisfaction yet, I've been looking for an update on that.

If you are looking at the DD DX6.5 for your tour pack pods they will fit in the 13 and down pods but they are snug.
Snug is good, is one 6.5 to 5.25 speaker riing the same as the other ? How about hand control modules? You guys have tried and true go to brands? Looking at mid march before I get this done but that's ok gives me time to get this power vision dialed in.

The AW6.5's & T2 tweeters sounded better playing from a USB stick versus my iPhone (with the volume all the way up). I originally thought the T2's were too bright but when I realized that I had my hearing aids on "high-frequency" boost (so I could hear my grand-kids squeaky voices) and reset them to the "music" program, the T2's started sounding great (to me) and I'm very happy.
Dealing with my computerized hearing aids was just another hurdle I had to jump over to get the best sound for my ears.
I'm glad to hear it's working well, I may go the t2 direction. The difference between 3 frankllins and 3 jacksons is starting to catch up with me at this point.
I went with DD AW6.5/BT30 tweets for the front and AD CX621 for the rear (2016 Ultra). Speaks arrived the other day, hope to have it all in by the weekend. Once I do, I will chime in with thoughts on those tweeters and the tour pak speakers.
