It's really hit or miss on fitment with the Kappas. Some get them to drop in by turning the speaker till it finds that sweet spot to fall in. Others, myself included, had to use a 1/2" adapter ring to gain enough clearance for them to fit. I can tell you this though, if your passenger bumps against the grills very much it's just a matter of time before the tab mounts for the grill will break. That was my experience but I also used spacers to mount them. If your lucky enough to get them to drop in you may have different results.
