First off what budget do you have for your upgrade??
That will help in the equipment to suggest.
You will need the bt355 line levelers to start with and depending on suggestions possibly the Biketronics speaker pod eliminator.

Knowing what you have currently installed will be helpful.
What model Hertz 6.5 speaker?
What model JL Amp?
Where are the ST 25 horns located, and how are they wired?

I am at same starting point you are at. Stock 14 SGS picked up 2 weeks ago. I just bought on here a used Fosgate PBR300x4.
I am told I need a line leveler. Will any line leveler work?
Speakers are TBD trying to find a good 4ohm pair to match
Sure wish you would've came here first before buying stuff for your upgrade. Depending on your expectations, you may be extremely disappointed with that amp choice.

So I was doing some research on the forum. However there was no Holy Grail of sound systems. The common BT which was a good option and great product my friends have.
My expectations are middle of road. Overall my upgrade will cost $500 for PBR300x4 amp, BT
355 Line Levelar and Fosgate TMS65 speakers. So for the $500 my expectations are middle of road.
Should have this in next weekend and will update on outcome.
