Speaker size
They will fit in the pods. You will want to split the pods and mount the speakers on the inside of the pods, not on the outside like the stockers are. They WILL be damaged if mounted like stock. The mounting ring on the Kappas is thick and it causes the speaker surrounds to rub on the inner fairing and damages them. Happened to several of us here on the forum.

Thanks for the reply. With that said I guess I should find a better speaker for inside the fairing. And keep the kappas for the lower fairings. Any suggestions on fairing speakers that are easier to mount?

No, I was actually just going to get the biketronics kit. But the speakers are on back order. I was trying to stay under $1000. With a 4 speaker set up stock fairing and 6.5" lowers. So now I was exploring other options.
