hoppe quadzilla speaker replacement
Any body ever replace the org. speakers out of a hoppe ind. quadzilla fairing? i know hey are a weird size 5" even. Also any ideals for a small amp that would fit up in the fairing? any help or advice would help thanks

Impossible to find unless you want to replace with the same brand which is a Seaworthy Marine Speaker. I tried and could not find one 5" speaker that would fit those mounting holes. Makes you wonder why they picked such an oddball size.

Polk Audio also makes a 5" speaker (db 500) but no grille. Same problem as mb quart. I could not find any 5" speaker grilles to fit either. The problem is that the Hoppe Fairing is designed for top mount speakers. You could probably figure out a way to do bottom mount speakers but it would involve substantially re working the inner fairing.
