Well I have trolled around here for a while and finally decided to cheaply upgrade my sounds based on your posts. Going from PBR 300x4 and 4 Kickers (2 in lowers) to SS PN4.1000d and 4 Kappas.
What else do I need to make this complete? It seems to me that I read on here that I will have to get speaker covers for the lowers.

Thank for your feedback!
Your going to need a set of 6.5" spacers to fit the Kappas in the fairing. I personally like the Metra 82-9601 adapters.
I would also strongly recommend reaching out to Jonathon at BAB (BaddAzzBikes) here on forums for one of their amp mounts. Makes mounting that 1000D much easier.
You will also need a set of CVO grills to fit the lowers for the Kappas as their grills won't work.
They are sold individually so order 2.

Velcro works no doubt but this amp is a tight fit between the fairing braces. The amp mount isn't that expensive and it just makes the whole process much less frustrating trying to get the amp placed just right.
Okay, that makes sense! I know that some guys have struggled getting their fairings back on after the install. I certainly don't want that battle. A couple of buddies (one an electrician and another who builds computers) are going to give me a hand. Otherwise, I might have to jump on the highway to see Gannicus. I live 100 miles north of him!
Who knows maybe he will see this and say "Hey I am going to be in Fort Wayne anyway and will stop by and help you out."

LOL!! My friend Bates got you covered Bro! But if you need me. I'm there! I have some friends in Fort Wayne who work at the GM plant there. That set up will be night and day over the PBR300X4! As Shannon stated that amp mount is a good piece of gear! If you have any questions or issues when you get ready to set it up. PM me!
